needless to say, I love monostays. I had only monostays bikes for a split second

I have one and we appear to ride similar sized bikes. If I didn't like it so much, I'd offer it up for partial trade on your vamoots.

Yes that was a standard rear stay mono lug used by many frame builders
My Strawberry frame has the same lug and without having indexed shifters mounted the frame flex that this mono frame design induces causes the rear derailleur to down shift under load Not great for going up hill

Some models are better to look at than ride..
