hell no, I am not doing 180 or 160. I did the 115k last year, 2 years ago I did the 100k (which I actually enjoyed more than the 115k).

This year the plan is the 100k mystery ride. I am signed up for it. If my buddy doesnt want to do it, we will either be doing the 100 or the 115.

I did the 100k last year on the duende cross that I picked up that week. I'm sure your fitness level and new bike will make it possible.

I'm with you. If I make it out there that weekend it's either the 100k or maybe even the green river ride

Me me me. I will be ridding with a good friend. We will most likely be doing the 100k mystery. Will not be camping this year though, treating myself to a motel lol

Shipping my bike tomorrow.

Setup:
Hutchinson Override 38's
Acorn medium handlebar bag
Velouflage fork
34/36
I removed my spurbell to save weight.

180K

Some be easy compared to the 28 challenge PRs and 34/28 gearing which I did in 2012.

Im so overkill on the tires.

Girlfriend and I are in proceeding as planned despite discovering weird hack-weld on bottom bracket.
Hoping the WTB Byways will fit, and plan to run tubeless. Will be a bit of an ordeal since they are currently mounted tubeless on another bike and will also be removing fenders.

I also considered motel this year after pulling numerous ticks off me earlier in the season, but looks like will end up camping.

I rode 90miles and 10,000+ feet of gravel this weekend in State College. It was over 2 days, but I felt really good the whole time. Looking forward to the 160k in 2 weeks. I'll be camping, hopefully parked next to AngryScientist's custom camper. Look for the big red 4x4 Chevy van. There will be two of us. I am the short Dan at 6'3". Tall Dan is 6'7"

I pre-registered for the 2017 Mystery Ride.

But last year, during a preparation ride for the 2016 Mystery Ride (some friends and I rode the 100k route in reverse), I had a serious meltdown.

As a result, I had a pacemaker implanted in November 2016.

Alas, they just can't get the thing tuned right and I can't survive riding an hour.

But I paid my money and I want my meal, dammit! And I want to check out all the cool bikes.

So I'll be there on the sidelines. You all have fun.
