After trying some pre-loved shoes and a pair of Shimano via online I decide to hit the LBS and ante up for shoes that I could actually try on and see if they fit. Turns out my feet have shrunk just like my waistline so I had to ante up for these....but LORDY the price tag!!!!

Broke down and bought a Tacx Neo to start training again. Also outfitted my Vanila with some PDW metal fenders for fall commuting.

Finally built and taken for it's maiden flight! That brutally hard, vintage saddle "taint" gonna stay.... Thanks to the PL members that helped me get the needed DA 8 spd goodies to match up with the shifters. Might do something about the heavy vintage wheels....maybe...
