My dividend has shrunk over the years to this year's $13....and of that only $5 was from REI purchases. we did give our favorite outdoor co-op some money in 2016, but most things were on sale and not dividend eligible.

I thought the dividends had expiration dates. No?

I just picked up a new set of kayak stackers that were on clearance. Still have a few dollars left from my dividend.

The best way to go is finding something on clearance + 20% + dividend. I did that last year, i ended up with a really nice 29er fork for $70. I usually shop the clearance racks in the store also.

I need some new kicks and have been nursing a pair of Oboz Sawtooth hikers for longer than I should have. Will be replacing with the same.
REI will let you use the 20% off on a Kickr or Snap or Cycleops Hammer so if one wanted to get in on the smart trainer revolution it's a nice way to try it. |

Wife and I are looking at getting some Patagonia nano puffs and maybe a light rain jacket of some kind. Figure the dividends and coupon can go towards those.
