Hilltop finish on Gibraltar tomorrow should be great. I am not working but unfortunately have too many meetings on my "day off" to make it down – Grrrr!
Having raced at UCSB, I've ridden the road many times and would love to sit at the commune about 2mi from the finish (11% grade there) to watch someone attack.
The stage from Morro Bay to Carmel should be brutal – very heavy headwinds this last week which are to continue.

Has anybody seen the onboard camera clips for this year that Shimano riders had last year? Thought they were supposed to have them again this year, but I haven't been able to find.

Anyone using the ToC app for live coverage? Starts at 2pm!

Hopefully they don't have the technical difficulties today as they did yesterday.

Is it just me, or is this already a much more interesting race than the Giro?

I concur!

I will say it's always better when you've personally ridden (or driven) the roads they're on.

Not just you. The only thing the Giro has over it (this year),
is the scenery and maybe the commentary as well.

I plan to go to at least one of the women's stages, maybe 2 if I can swing it. I have to say though that I'm not as excited about going since I've seen the start list and nearly all of my favorite riders aren't going to be there. I have pretty much zero interest in the men's side.

For those that say the Giro is boring this year.....

Anyways, this year he'll be cheering on his favorite rider, Sagan.

Anyone else going?
It was awesome! Was on Navajo Road when they whizzed by.
