Im going to say it again... who ever goes to trek dies as a rider, like a soccer player that goes to the mexican league.

All of them suck after a few months, there's no team for contador in trek (worse than his current team IMO), ask to cancellara and mollema.

ps: good jungels is not there no more.

That is horrifying.

Would have been better just paint the frame fully Giro pink and keep the fork in celeste. Quicker to paint too hehehe

He did not finish in the pink bike today tho. Wonder if pink goes against the rider's gonads, some colors are no no for men in some countries.

He should get a time penalty for riding that bike.

I do agree. TFS's "record" this Giro is...less than stellar....
I have no idea why Contador would want to go there.

TREK - SEGAFREDO (TFS)
USA
201 HESJEDAL Ryder CAN OUT
202 ALAFACI Eugenio ITA
203 BOBRIDGE Jack AUS
204 CANCELLARA Fabian SUI OUT
205 COLEDAN Marco ITA
206 DIDIER Laurent LUX
207 NIZZOLO Giacomo ITA
208 VAN POPPEL Boy NED OUT
209 ZOIDL Riccardo AUT

Current TFS Giro team ranking is 14th out of 22 teams. Pretty piss-poor.

Apparently, Nibali will be going to some new big-money Bahrein-based team.

Also, Kruiswijk's Maglia Rosa Bianchi is one seriously ugly bike.
Easy, closing in on retirement and the $$$.

Yup..Italian company with shimaNO stuff on it..fail.

You did see Nibali's recent mechanical issues, right?

Yup, he dropped his chain. Biggest 'issue' is with the team wrench, not his stuff. I'd love to be a fly on the wall, around the teams during a grand tour. Methinks a LOT of stuff breaks..even a lot of the big stuff, like frames and wheels and handlebars..

Even tho he crashed..

http://www.atwistedspoke.com/kittle-throws-finish

Stage 18(144 miles!!), 19 and 20..it sure ain't over..no 'parade laps' in the last stages, Only to Turin..finish in Turin..not Milano?

No kidding. Two days in a row for Nibali. Those episodes didn't cause his collapse, but I wonder if that mechanic is still employed by Astana.

Not over for sure. There will be lots of hurt coming Fri/Sat for Kruiswijk/Lotto, I think, and he could crack (although he looks so strong this week) but for Nibali to win now is impossible. He could still podium though. It sounds like he will continue the race, which is great.

Milano (Gazzetta HQ) is the traditional finish, but not always. Rome, Verona, I think even Trieste in the past.
Torino for the finish is less weird than a start in Belfast, right?
'Rich' isn't how I would describe any cyclist. He makes far less than Sagan. But when he is completely unemployed, he needs every Euro he can find.

If the wrench is a buddy of Vino and also from Kazakhstan, I'm sure the Kasak mafioso is taking care of him. I didn't know he had another mechanical yesterday.

I don't understand these national grand tours starting outside their 'nation'.

World stage and all but makes for 'interesting' transfers.
