SRAM probably doesn't want, among other things, to deal with potential customers who don't realize that the MTB derailleurs lack a barrel adjuster, install them on their gravel/road/whatever bike, and then get mad that they can't fine-tune their shifting. After all, the Force 1 rear derailleur is essentially a SRAM MTB derailleur with a barrel adjuster added on. |

Because adding an in-line adjuster is such a challenge...

Excact is exact was my understanding, but called just to make sure. Why I questioned answer given. Response was sorry won't work - go with CX1. Decided not to get into details. |

My gravel bike currently is Campy 46/34 with 11-32 cassette and I'm happy with that combination. I'm trying to decide how I want the Firefly I'm going to win this weekend at D2R2 built up.
Actually I'm considering building a disc brake, gravel race bike for next year, and 1x seems to be a popular option. Sort of waiting for more reviews of the new Campy disc, and Shimano Ultegra 8150 before I decide on which way to go. |

What's the biggest tire you can fit and clear the FD battery?
