SRAM AXS Hood Installation

Hi all. Have decided that it's time to replace the ratty looking hoods on my Rival AXS shifters. Have the new hoods in my hands but they look so small and I'm sure it's going to be a struggle to get them on properly. I plan on warming them up slightly with a heat-gun to make them slightly more pliable before attempting to install. It's one of those finicky looking things that I really hate doing. Any tips/tricks from the experts out there? Thanks.

Alcohol on the hoods, or for the installer? My experience is both can be helpful.
