Assos Overshoes
All,
Looking at getting some Assos overshoes. I will not be riding in conditions that are freezing or really below 38f or so. I am looking at: Mille shoe cover Winter Overshoe Airblok Overshoe ---from the Assos outlet--- or newer Thermobootie S7 Winterbootie S7 Summerbootie S7 I am looking for some basic wetness protection, and just a bit of thermo. If temps are above 55 and dry...will wear none. Thanks for input.

I've used the winter overshoes with Airblock for years with success under the conditions you describe. Not very effective close to freezing and wet however. It will give you some moisture protection and I find that my feet are not soaking wet from sweat like they would be with a neoprene bootie. You can wear them as the day warms up and not find them oppressive.
The Mille cover is really just a sock and will not give you any moisture protection. I have not tried their newer designs. |

I've got the 851 Airblock overshoe. It's awesome.

i have the new fugu bootie, the after snow bootie, and the now delisted rain bootie. excellent quality. a little more delicate than other brands, but they fit well, look nicer than other ('lumps of neoprene') brands, and do a nice job. the fugu booties are perfect for me.
