Anyone tried Koozer hubs?

Has anyone here used Koozer hubs? I'm thinking of trying to build my first set of wheels for in-town commuting and don't want to invest in anything too nice since I'm just kind of playing around at this time. It's hard to beat the price on these, which is not necessarily a good thing.

Thanks for any input.

I'd add a few bucks and get a decent shimano hub for your commuter.

The reason I'm looking at these over other known entities is entirely aesthetics. I want to get an anodized gold color and these are the only ones I can find. That's also the reason they would be just for around town riding with no worries about high performance or high speed catastrophic failure.
