Perhaps alluding to the slow fester of E into the realm of human powered bicycles. With the recognition and threat that E represents to subsume the primacy of human locomotion on a bicycle to yet another form of vehicle tethered to some form of energy dependence.

The mass market for a sedentary or none-fitness aware consumer will always choose the powered bicycle.

Or said another way: There goes the neighborhood.
