Awesome build. What bars are those?
A damn shame these frames are being discontinued. |

Bars are Deda 215 26.0. I got the frame on closeout mainly because of the paint job, but also N+1 of course.

Just finished the Spectrum with a 6800 drivetrain and Pacenti hub/hoop wheelset. Photos soon. The Medici is line for a 7800 drivetrain and a 6800/CR18 (Chisolm) wheelset. |

My God! That Rob English!
[QUOTE=thermalattorney;2129934]So many good fades. A friend just built up that pink/blue Brother frame from the previous page as his commuter. Looks great in person! Here are some more: |

Go here: http://www.ifrider.com/
type in fade in the search and enjoy. Of all of the IF's I have had only one had any sort of fade. |

I dislike abrupt gradients and think a smoother/longer transition looks better. Here's my stinner:

there have been many amazing paint jobs put up here. in my mind, the Rob English and the Bishop Butterfly track bike take the cake. not sure i ride fast enough for either of them to be the model for my next paint job. sort of like high end carbon wheels with big logos. you don't want to be the guy getting dropped off the back with a 3K+ wheelset...
one thing that is clear to me after looking at a whole bunch of fades is that I do prefer a long transition rather than more abrupt color block sort of appearance. thanks! this has turned into a pretty cool thread. |
