New Giro e-collar helmet

I thought you'd like to see the newest Giro prototype (here being modeled by Stella). Very lightweight. Fantastic adjustability. Low cost. Aerodynamics are not so great, but ventilation and air flow are excellent.

I need one of those, my hearing sucks and I hate wearing hearing aid.

I may need it too. Bentley (my greyhound) had an IV from dental work and won't leave the bald spot alone.

How is Stella handling it?

The aerodynamics would probably improve significantly if she was wearing it correctly.

Heal fast little puppy!

Send that to Giro....no wait a sec....you don't want them to go Full Metal Specialized on your A$$. Nevermind.

Stella thanks you for the kind comments. She's getting over dental work and the Giro cone of shame will stay on for a little longer.
Here she is in happier days.

And yes, Mike, your suggestion is perfect. She needs to turn the collar around to improve the aerodynamics. It would be the perfect TT helmet.

Our pooch had to wear one of those for a week. She took every opportunity she had to bash it into our shins. And yes, she was most definitely doing it on purpose.

We actually switched her to a soft cone and everyone was happy.

I know we're getting pretty far from Giro helmets, but I feel like I need to share this cartoon (rejected by the New Yorker). If you don't get it, ask a dog owner...

Can't find it but there's a clip of a dog with a cone. There are a number of dogs wrestling for control over the single bowl of food. The cone dog walks up, plops his cone down, and bam, no food for anyone else.
