13.1 means they ran a 1/2 marathon , 26.2 means a whole

Where do you live that you're not inundated by those stickers?

I get a kick out of the people that have the 13.1 stickers. I mean, you're proud of running only a half of a marathon. Really?

Look, I get personal goals. A half-marathon for a lot of people is a great goal and a wonderful achievement. Congrats. But bragging about it to the world is a bit much. Hey, why not a 5K sticker?

Mountains of Virginia. I may just be totally oblivious though. I do know a couple marathon runners too.

Don't laugh. I've seen them.

It took me a while to get the 140.6 sticker but then it dawned on me. Then I was depressed because up until then I hadn't even ridden my bike that far at one time. Then once I had I thought it would be cool for some ultra to award one to finishers (I see your 13.1 and raise you 392.9) but then I realized that would be stupid, you don't ride ultras to get some frigging sticker.

I like people with the "0.0" stickers. At least they're honest!

I bet you're a real swell guy to spend time with...

It would be meaningless without the parenthetical statement...just a lame spoof of the 26.2 stickers along the same lines as the 0.0 sticker. Making it cyclocross specific is what makes it clever.

If you sent me an email by noon today, your sticker will be mailed on Monday.
Guess I was one of the lucky ones, thanks again!
