Bellessi

I'm buying a 90s Bellesi road bike frame for $250, does anyone know if that's worth it? I've never heard of the brand, but it's an Italian brand and looks like a decent bike frame.

Are you certain that the name has two s's?

I have never heard of "BELLESSI", but I have seen a couple of "BELLESI" (Roberto) frames. Long gone, I think.

Go for it. The builder's name is Roberto Bellesi and very few of his frames ever made it to the US. I have one with Genius tubing that I purchased new in 1998 and I really liked how it rode. Unfortunately the top tube made friends with a door jamb so it's just a wall hanger now.....but I would buy another in a heartbeat if I found one in my size.

No problem. $500 might be a bit high, but if it is in good shape, and of good tubing like choke's (Columbus Genius), $250 sounds pretty good. The ones I have seen have all had simple, elegant paint schemes like choke's. I never rode one, but they looked fine.

As ultraman6970 asked, do you have a photo/s? Is the $250 for frame and fork only?

Honestly brand new to this, no idea how to attach one.

The frame looks good, and Foco is excellent tubing. I don't see a size listed in the ad, so do you know that it is the correct size for you?

The price for the frame alone is now $250, and not $350 per the ad? Others here are more expert at values than I am, but that seems like a good price.

Bear in mind that an Enve, Reynolds Ouzo-Pro, or Alpha-Q fork (with long steerer, since the frame looks large) will probably cost ~$150-200 in mint condition, and of course more new.
