Thoughts on new Cannondale-Garmin kit?

I like it. Cannondale green against the black and a subtle nod to the argyle.

The bikes are way too Rock Racing for my taste.

I dunno, I feel like they could have been more adventurous. Kit design feels very safe.

Understated and simple. Something you don't normally see in team kits. Is the green Cannondale's signature color? I've always hated that color green.

Looks pretty good. But we're going to need spotlights to see the peloton before long. I didn't think Johnny Cash was such a cycling role model.

looks like they didn't even break out any new paint schemes. These all look like paints straight out of the 2015 catalogue. Which, I know they had to do because people wanna ride on the bike that looks like the protour team, but...still..meh...

It is left over from their liquigas background.

They started on Bianchi

I wasn't a fan of the team or kit, but the rock racing bike was kind of cool. De rosa, the pinnacle or record 10 and cole wheels.

I was hoping they would incorporate the blue more. The yellow mavic logos on the wheels are not my cup of tea.

I dunno. All the black with some kind of accents leaves me feeling meh. I guess my age shows when I think of the "classic" team kits (7-Eleven, LaVieClaire, Banesto, Raleigh, PDM, etc). I'm not seeing much differentiation in today's peleton.

Maybe the kids should get off my lawn, too

Interesting that they have a Synapse "team bike" with discs.

So, it is pretty much a Team Belkin Jersey with some subtle argyle? As much as argyle can be subtle when it is fluorescent green.

They made such a big social media deal . . .

. . . of the supposed "ride argyle" stuff, then come out with this kit where the argyle is so understated that you can hardly see it when they're standing still. When they're in motion you won't be able to pick it out at all.

Granted my taste often runs to the extreme (think zebra stripes) but it seems so many of the teams now are just black with some accents. Giant just did this same thing. I always thought the object of the team "look" was to help them stand out in the peloton while racing to spectators and TV. But so many look the same now.

It seems lots of the designers are just coming up with something that looks cool in fashion shots, but will be totally UN-distinctive in the actual peloton.

Then again, MTN-Qhubeka goes daring and gets slammed by the fashion police.

And we all know how well that worked out for the Colombian women's team...
