What French bike would you take home?

I live in New York but am in France for the year. I've taken to the idea of taking a bike home as a souvenir. What French bike would you take?

I'm personally looking for a townie bike. I don't have the budget for a nice rando frame from Singer or similar. The porteur style bikes, the ones with the massive fenders and chainguards, always catch my eye when they roll by and can be had for cheap.

I'm also almost embarrassed to mention how attracted I am to these motobecane folding bikes. Everyone I have shown them to has recoiled. To me they seem like a blast to tool around on.

I like them both, but the folding bike definitely needs a saddle upgrade.

I like the folding one but both of them are cool bikes.

Their opinions, and ours as well, aren't all that important. If it's a blast to ride, then get it and let it put a smile on your face.

Motobecane

That orange cutie appeals more than the diamond frame.

Wow, that's a fun question. My first thought is more on the line of a Team Renault blue Gitane, circa 1984. 'Course you could always get a Look 585 in the mother country.

Then there's Peugeot, Motobecane, and Vitus to consider. And Singer.

That's probably just the tip of the iceberg.

I’ve wondered if filling a partial container would be worth it…. Highly doubt it.

If anyone wants to go some snooping, check out leboncoin.fr (French Craigslist). The search term 650b is always interesting.
