I have seen that Tomii in person and it is even nicer in person than in pictures if that is even possible.

She's a sad bicycle right now.

It's getting a white industries vbc (road) crank, 46x34. bb is 73x118. the 73 shell width complicated things a little bit but the WI will work swimmingly.

This thread has some fantastic bikes in it. I'll use it as inspiration for a new bike build. Now I just need the funds for a Salsa Vaya...

I've been using dirt drops for quite some time (on other bikes) and just really find them very comfortable. I don't think I'd ever use a conventional road drop handlebars again. Sorry, no drive side photos with the dirt drops. You can see lots the photos of the initial build here.

Paint job is pretty banged up, but it's got Archetypes to BHS hubs and Rival shifty bits.

This is mine, also used as commuter/touring bike. Spent a rainy Saturday upgrading to 10sp with new Dura Ace barcons, 12-28 casette, Ultegra chain, new 3T 13cm stem, all new cabling/housing, and handlebar wrap. Runs so well should have done the upgrade to 10sp years ago. Running 35mm Kendas, current set up is for the upcoming Lynn Besette Fondo this October.
Should have mentioned that it's a 2000 Blueridge

A ride last week.

Pretty basic. An older Specialized S-Works tricross in aluminum. Rivendell's Jack Brown 33.3mm tires.

Old rigid MTB's make excellent grinders and I'd grab that Stumpy Comp in a second.
