I'm just amazed that anyone even watches NBA, let alone that it still exists.

What? MLB attendance is declining and continued to shrink to the margins of the former National Pastime. The NFL is bloodsport, has peaked and shed viewers this year. The NHL is, well, the NHL. Sure, huge in Canada I guess.

I wasn't following the game at all, and had no clue what happened, so I just checked the final score...

That wasn't even close!

Two more like that, and the Cavs will have GSW right where they want them!

(jk - excluding injuries and player banishment by the league, the odds of Cleveland being to come back from a 3-1 deficit against this team are close to nil)

hey, at least they nailed their motto: "strength in numbers." as in: "we need everyone possible and every dollar we can to beat LeBron, because clearly even the best regular season record ever and a 3-1 lead wasn't enough."

I have watched them. Many times. And they always look beat. Like its a chore to be there or they hate it.

And yeah, they lost last year. And that was Dray and Steph's fault. They've both admitted it. Two very stupid and costly mistakes. If Draymond Green hadn't fouled out for the rest of the series it would've been over in 5. 6 at the most. And Steph got cocky and Klay wasn't there for that pass.

In the end it it is what it is.

But so far, Game One.....22 points!!!!!

Warriors 1
Cavs 0

GO DUBS!!!!

Once in my life I would love to see Steph, KD, Draymond, Iggy, and Livingston live. I like the entire GSW team, but in terms of personality those guys are my favorites.

I keep wanting to plan a trip when they're playing so I can go see a game there. It'd be awesome

Different strokes, I guess. Call it want you want, but the entertainment value of the NBA playoffs has been awful this year. It's the worst year that I can recall. Blowouts, more blowouts, mostly snoozers, save for a couple of isolated games. It's all predictably funneled to Cavs v. Warriors anyway, so the 2 great games were irrelevant. Folks can canonize the Cavs & W's all day, and say that they are great teams - OK fine - but who likes watching 40 point beatings?

The NHL playoffs have been much better this season, at least in the East. Hard fought games for the most part, with some unpredictability involved. Nashville seems to be the best team in the league right now - and yet they are down 2-0 to a beaten up Penguins team that has been eking by somehow, looking like the lesser of each team in the last 2 series but somehow winning.

I'm not a baseball fan, but the Cubs winning the World Series last year? Are you kidding me? How crazy was that?

The NFL has some challenges right now (general fatigue of the Patriots dynasty for one), but it's still the big dog in terms of pro sports leagues. The NBA has issues.
