Just thought these are nice and worth showing here.

Brand new Alliance Titanium Allroad Frameset: 57.5cm, long reach, clears 33s. I may kick myself for not buying it. Frame/fork/ti King HS/ti post all for only $2,050.

Complete Crumpton SL, 55.8 TT, DA9000, EE brakes, Quarq power meter, much more, only $3,200+

Whoa, that Alliance is super nice! Good thing CK/Enve/SRAM already drained my bike fund....(for the first half of the year anyway)

Just finished it up today, got about 30 minutes in on it before dark, and it is amazing! The fit is perfect, the ride is so smooth, and fast. And the first impressions on the etap lead me to believe that I won't be building with anything else for the foreseeable future. What a fun build and ride - and I finished right on time, with lots of rides on it planned in the next 10 days or so. I'll either update here, or in the etap impressions thread, although I suppose I should add a Custom Bike thread also.

The stem is temporary until I'm absolutely certain of the fit, then I'll put on a blacked out Enve. Very likely I'll also switch to a black post, but Eric built the custom ti post that was included with the frame, so it is on there now. And I didn't capture it very well, but there is ample clearance left with the 30s installed, could go larger.

(Sorry the sun washed out the logo on the drive-side photo...)

Bike looks fantastic. Fort he love of God, dont put an enve stem on there. I would get a ti stem, would complete the bike.

I regret not getting this frame. I had just bought a strada bianca which I am very happy with. Similar bike but in steel. These are the best kind of rod bikes.

LOL, it took me a long time to figure out I was looking at the same bike. That is a super cool split paint job. I never would have come up with that.

The Alliance turned out stellar. The paint is awesome. I am glad it wasn't bigger because it would have been tough to resist buying it myself.

I think a Ti stem would pull it all together, but that's just my opinion.

I appreciate the feedback on the stem. A ti stem was actually my first choice (I even posted a WTB for one on here), but then I started thinking black stem to match the bars/tape.

Now I'm leaning back toward ti, with some nice ti spacers to match. Show me, or point me to, the ones you think would look best on this bike.
