A ? on automobile used has snow plows

A ? on automobile has has snow plows
When I sit outside at whole foods market in Walnut Creek eating my lunch I noticed most modern cars have their front end designed so low it barley clears the 6" curb
Has I don't drive in snow anymore I wonder with this front end so low does it act has a snowplow and push the snow out of the way has you drive thru deep snow
just wondering
thanks in advance
Charles

Depends on the type of snow and traction of the vehicle. Ramming a particularly frozen bank of snow will leave pieces of plastic behind. The heavier and deeper the snow, the more resistance. Need better traction to overcome. Ground clearance almost always a good thing in deep snow.

It might push the light fluffy stuff out of the way but not much else. Simply the way they are designing cars now it seems. And not likely they envisioned drivers acting as plows when they designed/built those particular cars. Like mentioned above, here in Michigan there are numerous vehicles with little ground clearance damaged every winter. You see plastic parts often throughout the season.
