4 week road trip - stuff to bring?!

I think I have most bases covered for my 4 weeks of riding up mountains with the bicycle+motorcycle.. but I figured I'd cover my bases! I leave in 1 week.

Anything the collective thinks I should bring a spare of that would be inconvenient or annoying to acquire on the road?

Obviously got the basics covered - tubes, extra tire, chain links, spoke tool, allen wrenches, etc.

I'll be riding a hydro disc, thru axle bike with my climbing gears.

sounds like an awesome time!

are you camping or hoteling it? what's your plan for clean kit?

a leatherman, handful of zip ties and duct tape have proven invaluable regardless. a spare shift cable too.

Hotels unless I can't find one, then minimal camping (bivvy+pad+sack.) Since I have no schedule, I have no hotel reservations. Might end up sleeping in a ditch, who knows!

So yeah, sink washing every night, 2 kits.. wet kit in a mesh bag strapped to the motorcycle to finish drying for the next climb.

Leatherman Crunch, zip ties, duct tape, spare shifter cable - check!

Everything is looking open except Mt. Harrison, so I am now more worried about heat than snow.. but we'll see!

I have drops available in Idaho and Colorado if necessary (and I'm sure I could find some paceliners to accept FedEx if required, right guys?)

Perfect! 4 weeks with no fixed plan sounds like a great vacation. Enjoy the trip!
