bang for the buck touring style canti?
I need to replace the my front cantis as the high profile arms arent playing nice (or at all) with the rack I just installed.
Any suggestion for a cheap, nice looking touring-style canti? silver a must! Last edited by pavel; 06-25-2017 at 02:32 AM. |

Shimano
I love my Shimano CX-70 brakes on my touring bike. They are grey, however. You could get the cheaper CX-50 brakes which do come in silver. I imagine they will work very well.

I've got 2 pair of RevoX brakes. They stop.
Gone thru several sets of brakes to get here: Shorty Ultimates, EuroX-s, XT cantis, XC Pro cantis, OnZa HOs, etc RevoX-s work the best of all of them M |

when i ordered my BMC monster cross a couple months ago, i did significant research on the best canti brakes (in a world moving more and more to disc).
i ended up with the Tektro CR720s, which are significantly cheaper than Paul's, yet as highly regarded for their quality (though they may not have the same bike-nerd factor) mine are in black but they come in silver edit: just reread your post and maybe these are what you meant by "high profile"? could always go with the paul cantis Last edited by tim.bikeparty; 06-26-2017 at 04:21 PM. |

Yeah, should have said wide profile. Ended up ordering a pair of cr710s. I had the 720 and they interfere with the new rack.
