Swrve shorts sizing?

Hey. I've heard of some folks around here digging swrve shorts for commuting/leisure rides. I'm looking to order a pair or two and wondered how the fit was. I'm typically a 38 in Levi's and most other pants but sizing has become so messed up that I don't really know what's what anymore. Anyone chime in? Thanks.

I just had this issue with them and had to do a return. They go by "actual" waist size so grab a tape measure and check. I found that I was actually about 3 full sizes larger than what Levi said. When I measured the levi's with a tape sure enough it was 3 sizes larger than what they marketed them as. So you can either measure your waist or measure the levi's that work for you and order the actual size.

Swrve shorts sizing?

Hmm. Appears as though I may be too fat for their shorts. Thanks.

you can exchange for a new item and a store credit for any leftover difference if the tags are still on what you bought

Just went through this. Best bet is to just be ready to return it if it doesn't fit.

I am 6' and 150lbs. I bought a pair of Levis Commuter shorts in 32 that fit great. Few weeks later I bought a pair of 32 Swrve Durable Cotton Regular Fit shorts that were way too big, so I returned it for a 30. Swrve's return is great, just make sure you leave the tags on.

That is a tad shocking. Levi usually is off in the other direction. I wear Levi's jeans in a 32 and had to get a 35 at Swrve. I even measured all of the Levi's I had and sure enough they were all labeled 32 but measured out at 35.

awdwon, give Swrve a call. Ask for Matt or Muriel. They'll help you out with sizing.

Huh, not sure. Maybe its a 2015 batch vs older batches? If you read around in the comments on Levi's site for commuter stuff, the most recent line of Levi's had some different sizing problems from the past year's batch (resulting in plenty of complaining), and my 32 is a 2015.

I've given up trying to stay on top of it, I just assume it will take an exchange or two and then count my blessings when it's right on the first try.
