Neither fillet nor steel, but I love my Firefly's monostay. I really need to take new pics of this bike, a lot has changed.

I love this thread!

I have a soft spot for Mom-stays....since the Elephant NFE has already been posted here is the behind of my Hunter. In case you are wondering, that tire is a 700c Rock'n'Road....yes...it has loads of room for big fat tires.

For regular road bikes I prefer more traditional dual stays, but there are some nice examples of monostays in that thread.
