Dumoulin
Pinot
Nibali

I think Quintana is tired, Pinot and Nibali can TT pretty well when they need to and they seem to have a bit more punch at the moment.

Though it's worth noting that the last time all of these riders rode an ITT (2015 TDF stage 1) the spread between the four was ~20 seconds. The first stage of a grand tour is obviously way different than the last one, but if TD doesn't have a great day tomorrow he might find himself off the podium at the end of it all.

Stage 1 of the 2015 TDF was also half the distance of the Giro's final ITT.

Is not about that IMO, it is a reality check... somebody mentioned the 2015 TdF, in 15 km TD took like a minute out of quintana and 30 secs out of nibali and pinot, but is not the same 15 km than 30 km flat, neither the same race for the stage than race for the GC, the other problem is that is the last stage not the 1st one.

At some point even quintana made his math and he knows his limits and what he can or can not do, he more than nobody depends on how bad the other guys could do tomorrow, thats a lot of pressure. In the case of TD and even nibali... if they do normal they will podium because in paper they should get time back off quintana. The little thing here is that Pinot and zakari are not dead bodies and they will get time back aswell.

The other thing you might not seen is that NQ coudlnt get rid off TD, he had at least 2 hours of riding in the last 3 days to kill TD and they couldnt, the diarrhea day was a chance contador would have used to kill him even if he had to take everybody at his wheel... yesterday the same, today was the same... if he couldnt means that he was running empty, same with nibali... the other factor is that sometimes the tactics in movistar are just understandeable. Years ago in the vuelta purito and valverde did not want to pull with contador to get rid off froome, as result of that day I think purito got off the podium... team tactics...

So is not that I (want to use we) hate or doubt the colombian, but is just a reality check... the spanish comentators were saying the same thing... the colombian really can't give no more in this race or he could had at least 3 or 4 minutes ahead already and TD would be off the picture since the Schittttzz day.

Dumoulin
Pinot
Quintana

A sentimental hope that Quintana is able to pull off the time trial of his life to maintain a podiom spot.

Gota bet with a local guy, I have NQ, he has Nibs, whomever finishes highest.

39 seconds..hope NQ can pull t off. I think Dumoulin will win it..think Nibs and NQ on podium..happening now..

We are seeing averages close to 50 km/h but is people that is so back in the gc that they arent going full gas anyways. This thing will be won with like 55 km/h...

Would love it if Tom, Thibaut and Zak finished as the top three.
