Anyone familiar with Sync or Torus technology carbon wheel construction?

Viewed these wheels https://customlux.com/ at a trade show by a company out of Quebec, Canada, Apogee and not being very knowledgeable on carbon wheel construction was wondering if this was a common construction method. I was under the assumption most wheels currently are built up from multiple pieces of laid up carbon fiber sheet.

I wonder if this is the same as the single filament rims from Velocite.

Velicite sells bare rims, and also sells complete wheels under the Venn Cycles brand name.

There is a thread about Velocite rims over at the Weight Weenies forum.

Thanks Mark, look to be very similar if not the same, will read up the Weight Weenies discussion. Certainly appears to be a more cost effective method of building these plastic wheels, need to research weight, strength and precision claims.
