32 degree morning in Marin County. Heading back to the warmer climes of San Francisco.

Unhappy

Saw this poor puppy soaking wet and shivering under the rain, locked outside the train station/bike shelter yesterday morning during my commute.

Yea.. guess I'll be running again tonight.

Maybe ride tomorrow? No... probably not. But maybe.

I can ride in the cold, and I can ride in the wet, but I can't ride when it's 30s and dumping.

I commuted today. Huge error. Zero fun, frightened I would rebreak the collarbone, and just messiness all around.

60* in Chicago. Is this Janurary?

The towns in my area have made huge commitments to the cycling community. Shops and stores advertise as "bike friendly" with a sign in the window and the police target enforcement of laws. That goes both ways though. Blow a stop sign on your bike and get seen, you will het a ticket. Kind of nice though.
