The builder is missing a huge chance here. He should change the name of his bikes to "BringIT".

My understanding is he's primarily a tubing supplier to builders but also makes a pretty nice frame himself.

I'll defer to those who know more about him.

He is well-known to many framebuilders as he supplies and distributes framebuilding equipment and is a distributor of tubes, lugs, and other fittings.

Joe's a very good guy and makes pretty straightforward race bikes. I believe they're all lugged/brazed; don't think I've seen a welded Bringheli.

He's native Italian but has lived here for a long time and has very solid relationships as a materials provider & frame builder.

I acquired this one a while back second hand. Maybe got 15 rides into it before I crushed on the roof of my car (sad story)...

Raw Steel Joe Bringheli

I know he makes frame/fork jigs and supplies tubing (maybe his own line of lugs?) and remember hearing he may also teaches frame building classes. Probably worth just giving him a shout.

Anyway, a fine riding bicycle. I stripped mine down to the steel, so you can see some of the details/brazing work in the gallery.

That raw steel is gorgeous. Sorry for your loss!

I've used him to purchase tubing before. Seems to be a pretty good, straightforward sort of guy. I only spent about $60 or $70 with him - to order you call and talk to him on the phone, old school. He shipped me my stuff and had me mail him a check and sent the goods before he even received my check.

You can rest assured that he's a quality, trustworthy businessman.

I purchase tubing from him and have a few of his fixtures. Solid no BS kind of guy. He knows how to make a very straight forward frame for an excellent price IMHO

I have Joe's frame jig and fork jig, and bought a BB clamp for my surface table from him.

As everyone has said, he's a straight shooter. He's very reliable, delivers quality products at a fair price and on time. He's also a helluva nice guy.

Bumping this - Just spoke with Joe on the phone about a potential frame, just wondering if there's anyone else here who owns any of his frames? Prices and turnaround time is VERY reasonable

Joe built a lovely frame for my wife last year. He's an absolute pleasure to work with.
