Crazy wind gusts and some areas of the trail were washed out (I’m assuming from recent heavy rains) but all in all a great day out. I passed 100,000 feet of climbing for the year on this ride.
I love the Mt. Lukens ride. 35mm seem do-able but maybe rough. I've done it on 38s a couple times. Looks like a spectacular day and on the bike and you probably had it all to yourself!

Did some route re-con in southern jersey this week along with some riding. Found some nice roads and hundreds of miles of stuff to continue to explore.

Wound up in some real sand at one point; didnt need the 4WD, but surely would have without the rear locker. That's a no-go on a gravel bike for me.

Upstate NY

It was another spectacular late fall riding day, you just had to be careful on the north facing seasonal roads.
The sides were grippy but those car tire ruts were very slick ice.

I went for a nice 35 mile road ride out by the Great Sacandaga yesterday and never snapped any photos. Decided to hit the single track today on my 5010.

As you are from Scottsdale, I should also disclose that the blue-green stuff in the second photo is called "water". We have it in both salted and plain.
