Haha, thought you were asking if the guy was rambling about QAnon. I'd never heard of that group until yesterday.

Beautiful Boy by David Sheff. It made me cry. I hope my sons avoid drugs like the plague. I’d break into a million pieces.

Questlove Creative Quest- book on creativity. Cool to read and then check out

After reading this review
https://www.newyorker.com/books/page...ronting-racism

I just finished the book, and despite some discomfort I think it's one of the most useful and insightful books I've read in a long time-

White Fragility- by Robin Diangelo
Why it's so hard for white people to talk about racism

sounds fascinating, and relevant to today's social issues for certain! this topic is hard to wrap ones brain around. ive never understood the defensive attitudes, but maybe this book will help.

For me as a white liberal, the usefulness is the book's focus inward, not outward. Like that spot on your skin you've always ignored that turns out to be cancer.

Wow....doesn't anyone read for fun??

I commute on a bus downtown most days so I use the time to read and chill out...current book series:

"Marching with Caesar" series....R.W. Peake

historical fiction, first person account/memoirs of a Roman legionary from his time as a boy joining the Legions, and his rise thru the ranks with Julius Caesar and Augustus.

Pretty interesting recounting of this time in history and the interplay of the historical figures.

Cheers!
