Hard to argue with this. Those are stunners.

I forgot this one:

S&S-coupled Legend travel bike with e-Tap. I discovered a crack in the headtube around the same time that I won the e-Tap build kit and Zipp wheels in a raffle sponsored by SRAM. Talking with Scott Hock at No. 22, without the tooling, it wasn’t economically viable to replace the head tube with an asymmetrically machined headtube like the original, so we opted for a straight headtube with no cable bosses, and removed the other cable bosses from the frame, making it a true e-Tap-only Legend. The Moots Cinch Post and RSL stem are great for travel.

Shaken or stirred?
Gin or vodka?
Mustard or ketchup?

Script or block print?

Paul Barnes or Rich Roat (RIP)?

Our Classic block logo was designed by famed typographer Paul Barnes – the font is called “Andy Hampsten” – and features our lovable boar and down tube graphic in all-caps or lower-case. For a fun take on our classic logo we have the Script version from the good folks at House Industries.
@weisan—that’s the one.

@martl—I recall you posting about that Pegoretti ride. Was that a memorial ride after Dario Pegoretti passed away? That’s quite an assembly of Pegorettii.

That is from the "Pego-Raduno", an annual owners meet. This was the 2017 edition in Conegliano/Veneto with attendants from 5 continents. As always, Dario was there with all the Pegoretti folks.
I believe these meets still happen though with the Pandemic and all, i lost contact a bit.
The price of the total amount of bikes in that shot was a world record but then Specialized published a pic of an Ultegra equipped S Works

"Nonono, Signore, you can't bring an american bike here!" -thats what Dario didnt say

This thread abounds with fabulous grail bikes. Here's something different - a practical everyday rider I built for my wife in 2008. The frameset is a Salsa Casseroll in 45cm, the smallest they made, in a sweet gold/yellow with burgundy panels. Wheels are Ultegra 6600 to Mavic Open Pros, and it's running Vittoria Randonneur Hyper tires in 700Cx32. Probably would fit 35s. A bike this size would be better designed around 650B but c'est la vie.

Sugino AT triple crank with TA rings on a Phil Wood BB. M952 XTR, my favorite rear derailleur, and DA barcons. Tektro R100 levers for small hands and Shimano BR-650 mid-reach calipers. Nitto bars, Soma stem, Thomson post (barely shows). Today I'd use Highway One bars, if she starts riding it again I'll make the change to get a smaller drop and reach. MKS Urban platform pedals, copy of the classic Lyotard Marcel Berthet but with sealed bearings, and MKS stainless tubular cages, are the latest mod.

She rode with me this morning and reminded herself how much she likes this bike, so I'm hoping for some more rides this season with her.
