Of course you do! Did you get out today? Descending was tricky in the rain with all the water actively flowing in the ruts. Super fun ride regardless!

Good for you! I only saw two other cyclists out and no cars the entire headlands loop - which made the downpour completely worth it! Enjoy tomorrow. I’ll be back out Sunday.

Group road-ride on the gravel bike today - no problem keeping up - full fenders are a joy - and swapping 700x32 for 650x47 couldn't be easier...

I think I’ve posted this bike before - not nearly as cool/boutique as some of these, but it certainly gets the jobs done!

clean pal, whenever a pal makes a statement like this, 99.999% of the time it's the rider that does the "keeping up", not the bike.

True, but you know what I mean - some bikes make you really work to roll at 20mph or climb w a group that's on "road" bikes...

Understood.

I was riding the high zoot $8000 16-Ib carbon bike (of course I didn't pay that amount!) yesterday at our group ride and towards the end, my pal Bert was in front putting the hammer down bringing us home...I was averaging 300W to keep up with him and there it was in front of me other than staring at Bert's butt was his freakin' 15-year-old probably 25-Ib Specialized touring bike with the rack and the pannier and the whole nine yards.... Another pal Phil and I just looked at each other and couldn't stop laughin' to ourselves...he does this $hit EVERYTIME!

Looks real sharp! 1inch fork or 1 1/8? Polished Pauls are a nice touch too.
