OT that Mares looks great but if that is an E28 5 series in your garage, I'd love to see a better pic of it!

My two new Gravel Bikes

My gravel bikes that replacing a Kish and Focus cross bikes. I got this Trek Boone last year locally from a bike shop employee. It was in mint condition and probably ridden less than 100 miles. I put on some blue tape to accent the bike colors and added Nox carbon wheels (purchased from a Paceliner). It's mostly Shimano 105, which I plan to upgrade as parts wear out.

I like this bike's neutral handling, which is fun for both on and off road; also like the lower than normal (for cyclocross) bottom bracket height (6.8cm). Weight is 17.0 lbs for a 56cm.

Next is a Seven Evergreen S that I got on Ebay last week; I didn't really expect my bid to win, so I felt a bit sheepish telling my wife about it (but she's a good egg about bikes). This has mostly Ultegra drivetrain and I added the Dura Ace crankset (from a project that I didn't start). It came with Askium wheels that I have upgraded from November Cycles-built Eastons with Industry Nine hubs. The Continental GP 700x32 tires are a blast to ride on. I also have a set of Bontrager Aeolus carbon wheels for road riding.

Since I have not owned a green bike, I tried to make it green with the hubs and bar tape. Weighs 19.7 lbs without pedals.

@veloduffer: nice bikes! I´m kinda looking at a Boone for a multi-surface bike. Think I´m between sizes. I´m 180 cm, ride a medium Canyon Ultimate CF SL with the saddle at 76 cm from centrum to top of the perch. At what height is the saddle set on your Boone in that picture?

I’m about the same height. My saddle height is 75.5cm on all my bikes and have a saddle to bar difference of 6.5cm. The Boone is a 56cm model (effective top tube is 55.8). For me, the head tube of the 58cm Boone is too tall and and wouldn’t be able to get the bars low enough.
