Mylah joined our home today. She’s the daughter of our last Dane. Some things are meant to be.

My first pet ever, I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. I rescued him 3 years ago, never barks, never licks and has never had an accident in the house. I'm so spoiled, I can only imagine any dog after him will not be as perfect lol.

I love this photo.

Bumping one of the best threads on the Forum …

Interesting read on NBA players and their dogs: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/27/s...e-bridges.html

Not really a perspective you hear all that often. On a related note, I’d love to get a dog. Especially for my twin daughters, who go nuts when they see a pooch. I’d like a rescue pit bull or mix. But I’m kind of hamstrung. My partner doesn’t want a dog in her house, and she already thinks she has three kids. Or at least two and a half.

Unfortunately, the lease in my apartment specifically prohibits pets, and I have no plans to move anytime soon. (And the soon-to-be new owners would love to find a pretext to hasten my departure)

Really sucks. I think having a dog is extremely emotionally rewarding for kids and helps foster empathy and maturity.

This past weekend we had to put down Seamus, our older black lab. He was the model and inspiration for my bike logo. Several months ago we got Hoju, a black lab puppy. Here are some pictures of Hoju and Seamus together when we first got Hoju, and then again shortly before Seamus died.

Sorry to hear man. We had to put down our 16 yr old beagle Bruno a couple of months ago and it stinks. My girls are ready for a puppy but I am not.
