The only new bike I could see myself getting would be a Speedvagen. But, I would want to sell a bike or three first.

Just a little update,

I want to brag...

Yes some of you are nuts-in the best possible way.

I'll just list what I'm current on. A list including departed bikes would be 65+.

'08 Pinarello Prince
'06 Bianchi Cross Veloce
'08 Bianchi Cross Concept Race
'08 Bianchi San Jose
Salsa Ala Carte built for commuting
'07 Bianchi Rita single speed
'07 Scott Ransom LTD
'08 Scott Spark 10
'08 Intense 5.5 FRO - gotta sell this or the Rocky as they are kinda redundant
'09 Rocky Mountain Altitude 90 RSL
Electra Balloon Amsterdam town bike
Schwinn Collegiate
A couple of BMX bikes
Serotta Coeur d'Acier - trying to sell
Serotta Meivici AE - sometime this year

We could show a nice photo visual of bicycle history with the bikes represented in this thread.

I only have one

One is enough as long as you ride it...

Specialized MTB bike from before the era of suspension
Serotta Fierte, Dura Ace 9
Serotta CDA, Ultrega 10

Thats it, lust for more but, so far, resisted the urge to add.

Want, Gunnar steel or Serotta TI cyclocross, Speedvagen road.

How Many Bikes does Pete Really Have?

Pete claims to only have one bike. You guys that know him well - is this really true?

Without knowing Pete I thought he has the following for sure and probably more:

Bedford

Serotta ( I thought he has mentioned one lately he has for sale)

What else?

Somebody set the record straight.

Jeff

3) Colnago Tecnos - 9spd Shimano
4) Lynskey Pro Cross - on its way - Ultegra 10spd
5) Merlin Extralight - built as road bike but converting to geared bar cruiser
6) Cannondale track bike - black with custom painted lime green wheels/cranks, bars, seatpost clamp

7) Serotta CHT ti hardtail - XTR/Mango Chris King/custom powdercoated orange cranks to match
8) Turner RFX - custom rocker plates for Avalanche shock/ti spring
9) Ellsworth Id - Avalanche shock and ti spring as well
10) Santa Cruz Chameleon - custom painted XTR grey with green flames in the front/cranks/brake booster/lock jaws
11) Independent Fabrication Crown Jewel
12) Intense Tazer FS - FSR rear end, custom paint, custom Fox shock rear shock

- Pegoretti Great Googoolee Moogoolee - my "go fast" bike for shorter (2-4 hr.) rides.

- Pegoretti Duende - my "comfort" bike for longer rides. Currently for sale.

- Pegoretti CCKMP - not fully built. I envision this as my lightweight bike for rides with lots of climbing.

- Kvale lugged steel - set up as a fixed gear for commuting.

- Pacenti - not yet built. May be redundant with the GGM.
