As suggested in the other thread. Have not weighted it but it certainly is less than 18 pounds.

@Lionel you should come by here (Berlin, Germany) and we can ride some serious gravel with two Sevens....
That bike is a stunner! I might have to come to the Provance to see it. |

This bike resides in California for now. In Provence once off road you need a FS MTB !

Hopefully we won't lose the bike in the Sierra wildfires next week.

Lionel had better not ride that thing through dry grass!

Duende, Lionel, those are some sweet, sweet rides. This is my first time seeing Campy disc in the wild.

My 2018 Diverge Comp E5 is not in this club, but I'd like to get it closer. It's about 21lbs right now, 20 would be great, but don't know if possible. I am going 1x soon so that should help (Easton EA90SL)
Tips? Stock wheelset (https://www.specialized.com/us/en/co...-scs-ta/114529) is 1,625g according to Specialized, so I know I can save 'quite a bit' there but I didn't want to go less than 1500g for versatility/durability I was thinking AM101 rims to Hope hubs, Sapim Laser spokes, brass nipples in 24/28 comes in at around 1466 according to Pro Wheel builder/ originally I was thinking of going 28/32 which would be 1525 or something similar. I didn't want to go alloy nipples because of longevity? (I sometimes put away my bikes wet and dirty and was told alloy nipples are not good longterm?) tl;dr - I'm retrogrouchy and my diverge is a spaceship compared to what I typically ride. Thanks guys! Unfortunately due to prior commitments, I probably won't have a window to do a ride this weekend.
Lionel probably has more legitimate experience to judge the new gruppo on. But I will say, based on my two short commutes to work, that shifting with discs is noticeable better than the former chorus non-h11 set-up I was running. Much smother shifting with a lot less noise and complaints from the rear derailluer. |

Can't, I got some family obligations.
Truly appreciate the invite, really wanted to meet up with you guys. This weekend just doesn't work for me. Please keep me in mind for next time though! |

I'll call this 19ish....haven't weighed it yet but probably not much less than that.
New to me....looking forward to putting some gravel miles on it and might do some cross this year as well. Last edited by KJMUNC; 02-04-2018 at 06:42 PM. |

Almost finished my Curve Grovel v2 ti disk build, 52cm. Looking at about 17.6 lbs at the moment with 27.5x2.1 Thunderburts tubeless, and Juin Tech R1 brakes, alu wheelset. Have a list of small tweaks to get it to under 17.5, but that can wait for now. Pics next weekend.
