Hail
I took the bait and headed south from Pt Reyes as it was sunny.
Dry all the way down to Bofax- then cold rain and hail/snow showers on Bofax. Good times. |

Show me your gravelbikes....inspire me.
My rides are nothing like those above... wish we had views like that with beautiful dirt...
Here's my updated ride. Fit some 44 Snoqualmie Pass tires on the warbird! Such a fun ride on the crappy spring roads around here...

^^I see Campy. What disc brakes have you selected that play well with your Campy levers?

Using TRP Spyres with compressionless housing. Found upgrading rotors to 160/160 and Shimano XTs made a huge difference. Using standard pads at the moment planning to swap for some Swiss stops when these are worn...
Brakes fine once I got them dialed in. Not as good as my MTB bike with hydros but on par with rim brakes in dry and much better than rim brakes in any other condition (wet, muddy, dusty)... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The cranks, saddle, and new ano color are the only bits I find appealing...

My Flyover in summer groad mode. The Challenge 33c tires are great.

Setup the way it is, I doubt it. If you want your tops in a standard road position, just run Cowbells or Cowchippers. Woodchippers are meant to be run with the drops as primary position and I have never gotten good feedback from anybody who has run them as pictured above.

I've tried them on my old Fargo as pictured and they were definitely a no go. Cowbell 2s might be a good option on the pictured bike. BTW That Foundry is super sweet. My brother's is set up in a similar fashion and he loves the bike. Last edited by gomango; 03-12-2017 at 11:47 AM. |

Got out for a ride before and as the snow started hitting. Looking over my local lake in the city from a little known trail above.
