Rode the chunky pavement, limestone of the Fox River on the new Soma. Super ride today although windy. No snow and 44* in Feburary. Who can complain?

Certainly wouldn't hesitate to take this one onto the b-roads of New England.

A man after my own heart,no wasting time building it up. Great riding frame, will miss it. I was surprised the bon jovi's wouldn't fit what tires are you running? BTW those brakes are nice, aren't they? I chose them over the TRP's I tried them both and liked the Shimano Br-650 better but never did try VO Grand Compe.

Also it's one of those frames a photo doesn't do it justice, to have to see it in person to really appreciate the workmanship and color. It always looked washed out in photos yet elegant in person with the polished ss crown and ht lugs.

The ride is super. The Bon Jovis fit with about 1mm at the chainstay. Too close for comfort. I cabled it up with Jagwire road pro cables and swapped the pads for Kool stop. The brakes work super. I am running 28mm Gravelkings right now. Will likely get some 32's though. Got some black spacer coming and this thing is set. The blue saddle is a bit off but it fits perfect and my ass cant tell what color it is.

Pro Tip: get a light bike because you never know when you are going to have to climb over a tree that has fallen across the trail.

With all the rain you guys got in the recent weeks, you should have been advising people to get a canoe...Be grateful that you still have a road to ride on.

Steel frame & fork. 29 lbs as shown, which includes steel-railed leather seat, steel (!) bars, full fenders, rack, lights, bell, Nitto stem and post, steel cages, full repair kit and spare, all sensible long lasting components, and a full frame pump. I've gotten it to below 20 when all the accoutrements come off, somewhat lighter bits and PL23 / Hetre ELs are on. Although I've got a lighter bike that fits cushy tires, I've been riding this bike exclusively for at least a year and a half now. Very nice ride.
