OT - Kp index = 8, potential auroras

Using one of my OT tickets.

Possible auroras visible cuz the sun blew a big fart.

Pray for clear skies tonight and look up.

I'm planning a trip to see the NLs this winter. Never seen them. If I could catch a glimpse here, that would be great but sadly, clouds and rain for the next several days

Cool!
Some day I'd like to head to Churchill Manitoba to see them.

Fingers crossed for tonight. We got gypped here for the eclipse.

It is (was) absolutely bonkers here tonight in Michigan. I’ve never seen anything like this and I’ve been looking up a long time.

On the list as possibles. Leaning towards Fairbanks if I stay NA. Finland/Sweden are options, simply because I've never been there, but think the places in NA are actually sit in the zone better. And I've never been to those places, either, although I have spent time in Canada
