new to Sram hydro question

What is biggish red plastic thing in these photos? And how does it work? One is included with both my front and rear AXS levers, hoses, calipers. And the small silver dome with a hole in the side?

Is that 3rd party? I have a combination of actual SRAM stuff and Park and have never seen that despite doing 2 bikes in the last year that used the threaded barb and olive.
