I think that's the biggest issue. I'd buy a used set of Lightweights knowing that the company's still around and supporting their products.

Particularly when these particular wheels didn't exactly have a reputation for reliability even when the company was trucking along.

the company wasn't around long enough for ANYONE to be able to answer this honestly.

I have a set of VERY lightly used tubulars (Shimano) here (Gen1.5). New Vittoria tubulars. Less than 300 miles on em.

Would sell em for $500.

Not sure what the one's in this thread are selling for.

With a company that's no longer around for support, I wouldnt feel right about charging more than that. These are in great shape...

I'd take a flyer at $400-500. More than that, no way.

I'd be more concerned about the lack of spare parts. Warranty? Thats for the original owner only, so that shouldn't effect the purchase of any carbon wheel, regardless of the manufacturer.

I'm in the same boat as you, and I thought I got a fair deal on my tubular set just recently as well.

Sure. You can go carbon and hit the same lightweight factor. Show me a 60m deep carbon wheel that is just as light though.

Plus, if you like the bling, its pretty damn bling.

I'm not worried about the whole warranty thing. If they break, then they break. I'm sure not disappointed about the ride.

If these are tubulars you already have some very nice wheels.
Mad Fiber won't add much.
Spend money on really nice tubulars like FMB etc............

Thanks to fellow member here, I was able to acquire a set of MF and looking forward to riding them.

Also thanks for everyone’s advices, I realize about the concerns regarding repairs, warranty, etc, but I want another ‘look’ to my bike setup and I will switch them along with my 404s, 808s, and EX90SLXs
