The only place to get it is the Heaven Hill gift shop in the Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown. Not sure if you're referring to a different bottling or different product entirely. There were only 6 left last Friday.

Last night I had some W.L. Weller 12y. That's also a gem.

Weller 12yo is also a hot item since people are figuring it's the closest thing to PVW they can get these days now that buffalo trace juice is being used

Not really sure of the practical differences between it and what you show, but what I was drinking Saturday was Elijah Craig 12y barrel proof. So, I would think that is the Elijah Craig 12y that is pretty commonly available, but bottled at barrel proof.

interesting...I looked at the back label on mine and the age is indicated as 12yo. iirc about $40 here.

have you tried the weller 107 and the old weller antique?
I'm happy with all three but I think the 12yo has the best balance

Hmm. This bottle was $55 and they said it was only available at the Bourbon Heritage Center, but who knows.

Is the 107 different from the Old Weller Antique? If so, I haven't had the latter. I love the 107, though, yes. The 12y is my favorite, though, as many would agree. Even Julian Van Winkle said that's his go to bourbon at home. I liked the bottles better before they changed them a few years ago.

could be they amped the price up for the store...who knows. the problem is access, not price, sadly.

yes, the 107 is a higher proof and the OWA is a third offering - not sure what makes it OWA. If I had to rank them I would say 12, 107, OWA....in order of flavor, smoothness etc. that said, you d have to have drank a lot of bourbons OR have them side by side to see the delta. they are good, and pretty close tin flavor.

I had a pint of P the Younger for my birthday last week. It was as over the top and delicious as expected and blended well with the Percoset. Tonight, I may try some Celebrex and something from Hess, a San Diego brewer who will soon be available in cans. Good stuff.

Been working on replicating a drink from a local bar-tender. Next step is Lagavulin 16... will report back when successful. As for current drinks, been doing a bit of Buffalo Trace and 1792. Also had a great bottle of wine the other night, Abracadabra from Brian Carter in Woodinville, WA.
