I have the Ultra in a Medium, but haven't ridden the non-ultra version to compare. One thing that will make a noticeable difference in the ride quality are the wheels. I have the Dura-Ace 7850-SL wheels on mine and these are pretty comfy compared to some of my carbon wheels. With this setup, I've always felt this was one of my more comfortable bikes to ride.

It seems like Look listed some percentage for the increased stiffness in their marketing information for the Ultra. You might be able to dig that up if you are interested.
