OT: Expo 67
Probably a few of us were there... I was a couple yrs older than the author.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/29/w...invention.html Interesting retrospective. "Attendance at Expo broke all forecasts and overwhelmed logistics." Yep. Family of seven sleeping in the station wagon one of the nights we were in Montreal.

According to my parents I was there. Far too young to remember. We had just arrived in Canada (Ottawa).

My family and I visited there in about 1973 or 1974 when I was very young (apparently, most of the exhibits remained open until 1984, during which the exhibition was renamed "Man and His World"). Perhaps not all the exhibits were still open when we visited, but I think I can remember the ones mentioned in the article.

I remember going to something called "Manada's World" when I was little. Took me years before I figured out what the actual name was.

I worked at Expo 67 - at the Youth Pavillion. Was a cool place indeed..
