Garmin ANT+ Data into TP

http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/06/t...c-connect.html

This link describes how TP can suck in Ride Data via Garmin AutoSync over the ANT + network.

Your thoughts on this process?

Does it work well and seamlessly?

Any bugs?

Any better alternatives?

Sounds like a feature that would save you a few mouse clicks and maybe 45 seconds. (but I connect my Garmin to my PC regularly to charge it)

I use the Garmin agent to upload to Strava which then automatically sends it on to Training Peaks for my coach. It's seamless. No downside. It's not using ANT+ - just whatever means you use to sync - either USB or Bluetooth.

I've done as both the others have responded. Currently though I am using what DCR outlines. Garmin Connect on my phone automatically syncs to TrainingPeaks (through the Garmin Connect website). Nothing else required. Complete a run, walk into range of my phone, Garmin 920 watch connects, transmits the data and in 20 seconds its in TP. Same on the bike, but I usually carry my phone so as soon as I hit save on the 510 its sent across the wire.
