Paging Doogie Howser

Anyone ever feel like they suddenly sprained ankle but did not? Last two days have had a feeling like I severely sprained ankle, can’t walk on it….comes and goes. One minute walking fine then can’t move it or it will kill. Probably screwed up a nerve somehow but no idea how. No history of injury.

Arthritis? Do you have soreness in your calfs, redness/swelling? If later run don't walk to dr, could be DVT

See your doctor . . .

Not a good idea to crowdsource your medical care. OK to ask opinions, but don't take what you get here as valid medical diagnosis!

Agree. You need someone to examine your ankle.

Better to have a doc look at it and get an xray than listen to guesses.

I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last weekend at US Pro. I'm going with gout.

Was my guess too, but you should listen to a doctor, not me.

This is no help but dang I have this same complaint, in one ankle, comes and goes. Went to a high-end sports physical therapy clinic for an eval and it checked out fine with full range of motion and an incline fatigue test. I need to strength condition both ankles (and the entire rest of me). But it’s still a mystery. Hurt like heck last night after a ride, and back to fine today.
