Just About Ready to Start

Latest project is my 50th B'Day gift from my lovely spouse. Building up a new C59 with Super Record EPS. Waiting for a couple of the final bits to arrive, specifically stem, handlebar, pedals and saddle. Hoping to build up next weekend. Piled up the paint (EPS) and have the canvas (frameset) on the easel, er the rack.

Finally, a frameset where the little red "accents" on SR11 will fit. That's gonna be a sweet rig.

I can't tell which version of EPS power unit you will have. V2.0 seat tube battery pack?

Colnago and EPS

Let me know if the holes for the wires are too small..on the 3 Colnago/C59/EPS I did, all the holes were too small for the connectors..little bit with a round file, no problema but 'may' be an issue. All were V1 battery type, with battery under downtube.

i did notice the 'hole issue' the main difficulty is with the hole in the down tube for the control wire. I did experiment with the file on the magnetic guide wire with the connector and that should do the trick. A little annoying, but oh well! I am using the V2 power unit.

Rarely say this....but can't wait to see that thing built. That bike (and the way you've spec'd it) pegs the lust meter!

After doing a few of these, stringing the wires is the toughest part by far, even with the Campag wire stringing thing and rod for V2 battery. Tuning it is easy.... Big-big, push 2 mode buttons, blue light, etc, easy
