uh-oh, this could get expensive...

Wow.

Vittoria has knocked it out of the park with their new line of "Pro" cotton tubeless tires. These are some of, if not THE nicest rubber I have used. Definitely harkens back to the old handmade tubular tires we all love/loved.

Easily one of the easiest tubeless tires I have ever set-up too. Didnt even need to remove valve cores to pop them on.

Now I want these on all of my bikes. Well done Vittoria. Excellent tires.

They are not, however - cheap.

That looks like a 24mm tread on a 32mm casing…!

Interested in a ride review after 1000km and some decent corners…

Interesting. I've been using the Corsa Control clinchers for a couple years now and I love them. But I'm not set up tubeless on any bike, so those have been doing fine for me. Will be interested most of all to learn of these new Corsa Pros' durability, that's key for me.

Lots of punctures on weight weenies. Very narrow rubber with lots of exposed sidewall. Plus I can nearly get 2 veloflex corsa tires for the price of one of these "pro" tires.

Riding regular Corsa

and it is nice. I have never tried Conti GP5000, are they more harsh?

Have a few friends riding them also dealing with flat issues, but they look soo good;

would like to know where you're finding veloflexes for cheap though!

compared to CorsaPro and Michelin Power Cup TLR. yes.. PowerCups are even more supple than Corsapro but the center tread is narrow. I do crits and so far no issues. I only use 28mm

I'm curious about sidewall durability as well. One of the reasons I ride 32s on my Open Min.d is the occasional gravel roads and gravel driveway in Wyoming. Sometimes the gravel is loose enough that it rubs the sidewalls. Otherwise, I just enjoy the magic carpet ride quality of a nice 32.

Supposedly they're 19% more puncture resistant. Whatever that means. I'm on regular non TL Control clinchers too, so not in a rush to consider since these would be about 30g heavier because they're TLR, and for now they're also about double the price.

They looked like they really got stingy with the rubber meeting the road coverage here.

Can't wait for a ride report though. They certainly look the part!

I have a couple thousand miles on my 28mm CorsaPro and love them. In my eyes, the GP5000 no longer exist.

Do you think there’d be more tread for road wear if the wheel had a larger inside width?

same here.. I never liked them and only used them because they are fast. Keep telling my buddies it's time switch. All but one has.

Hookless rim compatible?
