Serotta Poll

The whole story of Ben Serotta's departure from Team Serotta may never be know publicly, but given what you know (or perceive) about how the "Serotta story" is unfolding, which of the following choices best represents your position?

Multiple selections are allowed. Poll is anonymous. Disregard "only" in selections 2 & 4 if you would consider a frame built by DCG or Ben Serotta. (Obviously a forward looking poll assuming Ben continues to build frames in the future)

I was just about to point this out.

It's surprising how tricky poll-wording can be.

Would have edited it out, but not an option once posted.

You need to add another choice:

Own a Serotta AND would never buy another from either Ben or DCG

Yes, this and the corresponding version of don't own, but... Thought about these after the fact. Apology.

Personal curiosity more than anything, but there's enough marketing geek in me that I'm trying to reconcile personal perception (cycling friends who own Serotta and my own interest in Serotta) with the most recent developments.

William
I've owned a Serotta Ti in the past. It was OK but not interested in buying another.

I've never been willing to pay the premium for a Serotta bike when so many other bikes of equal quality are available at more attractive price points. There are a lot of good bikes available.

Could you add an option...

At this point, I'd only buy a bike from a Serotta alum, like Dave or Kelly. Their hands and knowledge are the jewel passed on.

Would depend when and what I am in the market for, DCG's tenure at that time, Ben's new business model/pricing, and who he is paired with. Impossible to say. Would consider both.

Is there an option for 'own a bike with Serotta DNA'?

When I'm out riding my Kirk and I see a Serotta, I think of it as a relative.
